I went from having a cinema, restaurants and taxis at the end of my road - as well as friends popping in daily - to a life where everything takes at least fifteen minutes to drive to, and seeing old friends means planning diaries weeks in advance. The funny thing is that I took to my \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcnew\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 life like a duck to water. Yes - there were a few teething problems, yes - it was extremely difficult to give up my career and therefore my financial independence for a while, but once I had muddled through that initial period of soul searching, and rediscovering myself, I found out that I quite liked the silence; I quite liked the alone time; I quite liked sitting on a village bench watching the ducks and seeing the sun set under the big Norfolk skies. Sometimes finding what makes you truly happy means taking a few steps outside of your comfort zone. I can love and admire super modern interiors, or a fabulously quirky lamp shaped like a flamingo - but as much as I may admire the hard work and creativity of the person behind the account, and will happily \u00e2\u20ac\u02dclike\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 the image -  it won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t particularly make me want to buy it...unless I was actually looking for a quirky bird footed lamp at the time. That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s why I have no personal issue with people selling, promoting or advertising the things that they love or believe in on here. If I love it too, then I may swipe up. If not - then I will respectfully move on, happy that they are free to talk about the things they love. No harm done. \nMy image today is from the account of Brigitte @mossandstonefloraldesign - I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve used it because I was 100% influenced by it and it is one of the main reasons why I bought the bench that is currently featured in my stories. The funny thing is that Brigitte doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t sell benches - she\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a floral designer - but her interior style and aesthetic is one that I am wholly drawn to, and if she did sell benches then I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d probably have bought a dozen from her!
